The selected Contractor shall provide pavement striping, roadway markings, and curb painting services along all arterials within the City of Norwalk. The purpose of this work is to enhance roadway visibility, promote traffic safety, and ensure compliance with state and local standards. Work will include removal and surface preparation of existing striping or pavement markings where applicable, followed by installation of reflective pavement markers (RPMs). Temporary traffic control and signage shall be provided in accordance with the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD) to safely manage traffic along these arterials during construction. The Contractor shall perform all work and appropriate mobilization and staging along the project limits, and shall complete site cleanup and debris removal upon completion of each work segment. All work shall conform to the latest Caltrans Standard Specifications, applicable City standards, the CA MUTCD, the Standard Specifications and Plans for Public Works Construction (Greenbook), the Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (Watchbook) and all relevant safety and traffic regulations.
