Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide specific and relevant coaching to the15 volunteers of the Human Rights Commission and the staff of the Office of HumanRelations. We seek expertise in the following areas:a. Servant Leadership provide coaching and training on Robert Greenleaf sphilosophy of servant leadership and how to incorporate its core values(listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization,foresight, stewardship, growth, and building community) as a means ofbuilding and maintaining an effective volunteer human rights commissionand addressing human rights issues in Portland.b. Team building provide coaching in the areas of, including but not limited to:i. improving communication (internally with each other and supportstaff of the Office of Human Relations; and externally with the public,media, city council, and other human rights organizations);ii. incorporating goal setting and self-regulation strategies (forethought,performance control, and self-reflection);iii. assessing individual skills and talents;iv. identifying group strengths and weaknesses;v. optimizing group strengths;vi. improving group effectiveness and productivity;vii. enhancing collaboration among group members; andviii. facilitating and/or participating in meetings effectively
