The Consultant will be expected to provide written reports, technical memorandums, calculations, and other documentation as necessary, provide hazardous materials assessment, testing and monitoring, and field support during construction and maintenance activities. The Consultant shall provide hazardous materials assessment, testing and monitoring services including, but not limited to the following: • Conduct site assessment/field reconnaissance/surveying, biological/ecological field analyses and environmental sampling (water, soil, biological, etc.), laboratory testing, environmental monitoring, and reporting services which comply with all federal, state, and county regulations and environmental requirements. • Provide testing services by a certified laboratory. • Attend meetings with City staff, facility operators, other consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to coordinate hazardous materials testing and abatement services. • Provide technical support to the City to complete permit applications and incident reporting to regulatory agencies. • During abatement or remediation, provide qualified staff who can clarify abatement or remediation specifications to the contractor and City construction inspector, and work collaboratively with the contractor to ensure proper testing and monitoring services while minimizing impacts to the contractor’s operations...
