Mechanical Inspections: 4.1. Treatment Tank – Inspect all risers in the Primary and Secondary side of each septic tank. Inspection shall include but not be limited to: 4.1.1.Water Levels 4.1.2.Sludge thickness and consistency 4.1.3.Scum thickness and consistency 4.1.4.Plumbing Tee’s cleared of obstacles 4.1.5.Proper performance, including liquid levels, pump floats, pump amperage, flow rate and water level. 4.1.6.Clearance of all obstructions 4.2. Textile Filter Pod(s) – 4.2.1.Inspect emitters 4.2.2.Inspect textile filters (Clean if necessary) 4.2.3.Inspect Recirculation system for proper performance Flush Laterals (Each inspection) 4.2.4.Inspection of Return Pump Basin (Pumps & Floats) 4.3. Textile Filter Pod(s) – 4.3.1.Inspect emitters 4.3.2.Inspect textile filters (Clean if necessary) 4.3.3.Inspect Recirculation system for proper performance Flush Laterals (Each inspection) 4.3.4.Inspection of Return Pump Basin (Pumps & Floats) 4.4. Pump Station – 4.4.1.Water Levels 4.4.2.Sludge thickness and consistency Scum thickness and consistency Plumbing Tee’s cleared of obstacles 4.4.3.Proper performance including liquid levels, pumps floats, pump amperage, flow rate and water level. Clearance of all obstructions 4.5. Disinfection – 4.5.1.Clean UV bulbs 4.5.2.Replace UV bulbs as needed 4.6. Dispersal – 4.6.1.Verify proper discharge to Drip Dispersal Field 4.7. Dispersal – 4.7.1.Visually inspect and calibrate all sensors and controls to ensure proper performance and reporting
