Notice is hereby given that the City of Beverly Hills (“CITY”) has determined that all bidders for the Fire Station No. 2 Tenant Improve Project (“Project”) must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a bid on that Project. It is mandatory that all Contractors who intend to submit a bid, fully complete the prequalification questionnaire, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the CITY to be on the final qualified Bidders list. Fire Station No. 2 was constructed in 1982. The tenant improvements to this fire station includes the following scope of work: 1. 365 square foot addition for a fitness room and a study room 2. New walled exterior patio 3. Reconfiguration of the existing fitness room as sleeping quarters 4. Selective excavation and replacement of the existing plumbing waste lines 5. Selective extension and patching of the existing tile roof 6. Reconfigured utilities and lighting at scope areas 7. New weather canopy over the existing north patio The general contractor with a valid “B” license shall be the prime contractor.
