The Project consists of, but not limited to, the following scope: Consists of modernization of the north wing and new associated path of travel upgrades. The north wing modernization scope includes removal of interior walls to create three science classrooms, a chemical storage and prep room, and one shop classroom.Modernization also includes removal of ceilings, replacement of the HVAC system, adding new HVAC equipment on the roof, electrical upgrades, new welding equipment, and new science equipment. Upgrades to structural systems for the modernization work include new and upgraded shear walls, and new, upgraded, or repaired roof framing.The fire alarm system will be upgraded. A new fire sprinkler system will be added, including a new fire booster pump. Path of travel upgrades include new walkways, new curb ramps, and exterior drinking fountain replacement.
