REQUIRED LEGAL SERVICES: The Contractor is required to have experience in housing and landlord-tenant law and be capable of efficiently offering the following legal services to qualified tenants, including: a. Interpretation and application of laws, court decisions, and other authorities; b. Representing the tenant as a plaintiff in litigation; c. Preparation of cases, opinions, briefs, and other legal documents; d. Investigative, secretarial, and clerical support services necessary to perform the legal representation in a professional manner; e. Compiling and evaluating evidence, drafting demand letters, claim notices, and/or complaints; f. Drafting and arguing responsive pleadings, pretrial motions, and writ proceedings; g. Conducting discovery, both offensive and defensive; h. Interviewing and deposing witnesses; i. Engaging in trial preparation, including the retention of trial consultants and experts; j.
