i. Vendor shall have up-to-date diagnostic equipment and factory-trained personnel to perform services and repairs per bid specifications. ii. Vendor must be able to provide factory authorized warranty service and repair as well as other as needed troubleshooting and repair services. iii. Labor/Repairs. Service requests will be made by the designated City representative. Vendor shall work directly with the designated City representative only to provide the following: 1. Estimated time of pickup and work completion in a timely manner. 2. Diagnose and advise of needed repairs. 3. Email or fax of the diagnosis, estimate of parts and labor hours, along with cost for approval before proceeding including any services beyond original work or exceeding estimated cost. iv. The City reserves the right to decline the repairs and only pay the vendor for labor to diagnose and identify problem. v. Vendor guarantees that the City requests will be given priority in scheduling service and repairs. If these service and repairs cannot be performed by the awarded vendor, the City reserves the right to purchase from an alternate source. vi. Vendor must provide a repair estimate within 24-48 hours of request. If longer than 48 hours, the vendor shall contact the designated City representative to advise. Vendor must submit an estimate by e-mail for authorization if the cost quoted is in excess of normal cost of preventive maintenance or recommended repairs. vii. The required turnaround time for routine repair services shall not exceed two (2) business days.
