Specifications include, but are not limited to: SCAG will be replacing its core Enterprise Resource Planning system (Microsoft GP), and custom Financial Management System, with a modern system containing out-of-the-box features that more closely align to SCAG’s needs. In addition, SCAG is interested in exploring integrated functionality where needed, with an initial consideration for contracting, procurement, project, human resources, accounting, payroll, budget and grants. The new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system will address and resolve today’s business challenges and better support best practice business processes. The ERP system will streamline routine operations by eliminating redundant tasks and disparate sources of data and will ensure a higher level of accuracy.
