Specifications include, but are not limited to: NSP HOMEBUYER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 1. Each NSP-assisted homebuyer is required to receive and complete a minimum of eighthours of homebuyer counseling from a HUD-approved non-profit housing counselingagency before obtaining a mortgage loan. 2. The Contractor(s) shall provide formal homebuyer education curriculum compliant withHERA, Housing and Economic Recovery Act. 3. The mandated homebuyer counseling may be conducted in group sessions and/or one-on-one counseling, but is required prior to full approval of financial assistance. 4. Contractor(s) shall provide NSP Program Outreach. a. Contractor shall present at a minimum six community information sessions asscheduled by the City to promote and explain NSP to Glendale residents. b. Contractor shall provide seamless customer service to participants by assistingand collaborating with City staff, real estate professionals, lenders, othercounseling agencies and other entities. c. Contractor shall provide City-approved NSP materials at information sessionsas requested by the City.
