The County of San Diego (County) is soliciting a non-profit, community-based organization (contractor) to conduct the following services: community engagement, document translation, and in-person consecutive interpretation in Chinese. The services will be provided on an as-needed basis as part of a one-year pilot project to strengthen language services and support community engagement efforts in communities with people with limited English proficiency. The aim is to facilitate the County’s translation and interpretation (language) services and enhance community engagement activities to increase accessibility to County communications and engagement opportunities for various projects, programs, or services with a focus on equity and inclusion.
