The City is seeking a Professional to conduct an analysis of Developmental Impact fees (Impact Fees) and to complete a Nexus Study (“Services”) in accordance with the California Mitigation Fee Act – AB 1600 (Act). The City is currently assessing impact fees on new development to mitigate the fiscal impact on public facilities and services such as, housing, police, park facilities and equipment. The City also assesses certain fees at the time of building permit issuance (back-end development impact fees) to cover cost associated with implementing the City’s General Plan and Zoning Ordinance, Childcare, and Citywide Art and Beautification efforts.
