The Service Provider shall provide an annual not to exceed fee for performance of the work required under the Scope of Services set forth in this Section and provided on Section C, Cost Proposal Form. PROPOSER shall be compensated on a time and materials basis for any Additional Services requested by the SCLAA. Service Provider shall be compensated at the rate noted in Section C, Proposal Form, per person-day plus travel and per diem costs for on-site visits by technicians, per hour for in-house consultation, reviews and reports by Service Provider’s technicians billed at increments of 1/10th hours for time expended. Service Provider shall utilize the lowest cost airfares available consistent with the objectives and urgency of the travel involved. Per Diem shall be billed at the federal per diem rates as published in the federal per diem rate tables then current for the areas traveled to on each assigned task. Service Provider shall invoice such time with a detailed summary of work accomplished, contacts made and information received for the benefit of or on behalf of the SCLAA. When appropriate, detailed reports with conclusions and recommendations will be prepared and submitted to the SCLAA as may be requested by the Airport Director or his designee. SCLAA shall reimburse Service Provider for actual costs incurred for authorized services performed pursuant to this Agreement. Summary PROJECT NAME: NAVAIDS and Tower Maintenance. The Southern California Logistics Airport Authority is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and certified vendors to maintain the Automated Weather Observation System III P/T (AWOS) and Air Traffic Control Tower equipment, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Administration and Federal Communication Commission regulations. The vendor will perform routine quarterly on-site certification checks, maintenance, and monthly or emergency maintenance through telephone dial-in service when possible. Additionally, the vendor shall attend annual FAA on-site performance verification inspections, provide scheduled periodic service, and conduct all required tests, while coordinating with SCLAA for FAA facility visits during quarterly on-site certification checks.
