This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to
announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to
award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Cummin Power Generation Inc.
under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) due to being a Logical Follow-on to previously competed work.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Government intends to negotiate solely with
under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Logical Follow-on to previously competed work. Any interested
party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability
statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine technical merit. Responses
must be submitted in writing via email no later than 12PM PST on 10 Novemeber 2021. Telephone
responses and request will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the
requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR
Part 13 apply.
The applicable NAICS Code is 335312 and the size standard is $1250 employees.
