Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Plan, curate, and schedule Musical and Cultural Performances a. Contractor shall research, identify, recommend, program, book, contract, manage, and direct artistic talent, and provide technical support and equipment for each scheduled performance. b. Contractor shall provide a mix of talent and performances that represent the diversity, creativity and expression of the cultures of Los Angeles. c. Contractor shall provide LAWA, for review and approval, a list of recommended musical or cultural acts for each performance. d. Contractor shall preplan all events in coordination with the LAWA Art Manager. 2. Manage and Direct Performances: a. Contractor will be responsible for, and bear all costs associated with, the management and direction of each performance including but not limited to; any required transportation to and from LAX, scheduling performers, providing all necessary sound and lighting equipment, photography, video and/or audio recording equipment, hospitality for artists and crew, and set-up/tear-down costs, unless otherwise stipulated in the task order.
