Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Long Beach (City) is requesting proposals for the services of a qualified contractor(s) to provide the following Municipal Band functions: Conductor and Master of Ceremonies for a six-week summer Municipal Band season, including technical crew and artist recruitment, and rehearsal and performances for both the Municipal Concert Band and the Studio Jazz Ensemble and Vocalist. Municipal Band concerts operate on a weekly schedule of up to four concerts per week, which are from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at various Long Beach outdoor park locations. In 2021, there will be six weeks of concerts performed beginning the last week in June. The same music is performed at each concert within one week. See RFP for additional details.
