The City is seeking an outreach Consultant with experience with conducting community engagement for public sector agencies for multimodal transportation infrastructure projects. The City of Pasadena is initiating several multimodal infrastructure projects and the City is requesting support for communications and public engagement for these upcoming projects. The Consultant would need experience in conducting community engagement, administering surveys, developing marketing materials, creating and hosting workshops and related events for transportation infrastructure projects. The Consultant shall have experience working with different types of community stakeholders and working in multiple languages to facilitate engagement for transportation infrastructure projects. Experience designing, creating, and hosting community workshops and similar types of engagement events related to gathering feedback and input on public transportation infrastructure projects would be necessary. The following work will be defined as Multimodal Communication and Public Engagement Support (MCPE). The MCPE will support three main projects: • the Columbia Street Improvement Project, • Greenways Project, and • Pasadena Avenue and St. John Avenue Roadway Network Project, and three smaller traffic operation focused projects: • Traffic Signal Improvements at Orange Grove Boulevard and Holly Street, and at Orange Grove Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard, • Multimodal Improvements on San Rafael Avenue at Linda Vista Avenue and at Colorado Boulevard, and • Orange Grove Mobility Improvement Program.
