Specifications include, but are not limited to: Visalia Unified School District requests proposals for an Internet Service Provider to provision bandwidth and other services for internet access between the service provider’s location and the Visalia Unified School facilities listed below. The proposed solution shall be provisioned on fiber optic facilities from end to end. The requested bid must include pricing for service speeds from 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps. The service provider must be able to provide to Visalia Unified School District a block of publicly routable IPv4 IP addresses equivalent to the District’s current allocation from their current Internet service provider. This is a /23 block or 512 IPv4 IP addresses. The IP addresses must be contiguous. Any resulting contract will be subject to E-rate and California Teleconnect funding, eligibility and timelines and will be for services commencing July 1, 2024.
