OVERVIEW OF SCOPE OF WORK The Alum Rock Union School District is inviting qualified and experienced moving service contractors to submit sealed proposals for moving services in support of school consolidation efforts. The scope of work encompasses the provision of necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to facilitate the relocation of offices, workstations, kitchens/cafeterias, and classrooms within the District's boundaries. The work will be conducted at designated times and locations as directed by the District, with the goal of completing the relocations swiftly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to District staff and daily operations. The following school sites are being closed beginning with the 2025-26 school year: • Joseph George Middle School • Horace Cureton Elementary School • Sylvia Cassell Elementary School • Donald J.
