The City of Moorpark is requesting proposals from qualified companies for a turnkey and comprehensive wayfinding signage program. At a minimum, the project shall include the preparation of a location plan, and the design, fabrication, and installation of wayfinding signage for public parking lots, prominent public and private facilities, as well as various public spaces within the City and especially its downtown area. The City of Moorpark aims to enhance visibility and guide visitors to public facilities and parking locations to accommodate the growing number of residents and visitors to the City and downtown. High Street, generally between Spring Road and the Post Office located west of Moorpark Avenue, is the main corridor in downtown where parking demand is anticipated to rise. Key public parking lots on and around High Street are located at the Community Center, Post Office, Chamber of Commerce, and Metrolink Station. Additionally, the City aims to guide visitors to the location of prominent public and private facilities, as well as various public spaces within the downtown area, including but not limited to the Community Center, the Police Services Center, the Ruben Castro Human Services Center, Library, Post Office, the High Street Arts Center, Metrolink Station, Chamber of Commerce, Public Services Facility, Magnolia Park, Community Center Park, and Veterans Memorial Park. The City also aims to direct visitors to its new City Hall location at 323 Science Drive.
