A. Contractor services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Contractor shall perform all necessary Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services on a weekly basis to provide full control, servicing, and monitoring of all pests. 2. Contractor shall respond within two (2) hours to any additional service calls for the removal of pests caught or killed by pest abatement methods, at no additional cost to Caltrans. 3. Contractor shall provide ongoing IPM control abatement (both interior and exterior). 4. The pest control services to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the elimination of rats, mice, mites, bed bugs, roaches, hornets, wasps, bees, sow bugs, centipedes, millipedes, fleas, lice, silverfish, cluster flies, spiders, ants, and other pests. 5. Caltrans Contract Manager reserves the right to add or decrease IPM services at Contractor’s rate contained in Attachment 1, Price Quote Proposal. B. Performance Details 1. Contractor shall perform all services in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 24, California Building Standards Code. 2. Contractor shall be responsible for supplying miscellaneous materials (e.g., grease, lubrications, gloves, etc.) incidental to service, including safety materials needed or required to perform service, at no additional charge to Caltrans. 3. Caltrans will not pay for expenses not listed on Attachment 1, Price Quote Proposal (including, but not limited to, travel, freight, trip, tax, fuel surcharges, etc.). 4. Any damage to existing facilities or structures resulting from the work listed in this Exhibit A, Scope of Work shall be reported immediately to Caltrans Contract Manager and be repaired to the satisfaction of Caltrans Contract Manager, at Contractor’s sole expense and only with prior approval of Caltrans Contract Manager. 5. Any follow-up service calls to eradicate pests by Caltrans Contract Manager, shall be responded to within one (1) business day upon Contractor receipt of notification, at no additional expense to Caltrans. 6. Contractor is responsible for the eradication of all pests to the satisfaction of Caltrans Contract Manager. Failure to do so constitutes a failure to perform and may result in the cancellation of this Agreement. 7. Service Call Definitions a. Routine Service Call – Weekly services as described herein. b. Follow-up Service Call - Additional routine service calls needed to maintain standards of operation. Follow-up service calls are non-billable. c. Routine calls will be paid according to Attachment 1, Price Quote Proposal.
