Specifications include, but are not limited to: 7.1 On-Site Training Training sessions shall be provided to CALPIA MSF Planning Team, factory staff, 3rd-party installers, as well as other state agencies, including the Department of General Services, at no additional cost to CALPIA. 7.1.1 Unassembled Items For unassembled items, the CALPIA shall be provided on-site training for the duration of the contract including a minimum of three (3) days start-up training at each factory location and one (1) day annual training per site. Vendor shall supply instruction manuals and two control samples (one fully assembled and one unassembled) per location. Bidder shall supply suggested training plan including manuals, instructions, etc. prior to the outset of the training. 7.1.2 Assembled Items For assembled items, the CALPIA shall be provided on-site training for the duration of the contract including a minimum of one (1) day start-up training with CALPIA’s MSF Installer and one (1) day annual training per region. CALPIA’s MSF Installer is designated by region: Northern California, Bay Area of California, and Southern California. Training location for the three regions will be mutually agreed upon by the vendor, CALPIA’s MSF Installer, and CALPIA designated staff. Vendor shall supply instruction manuals and control samples per region. Bidder shall supply suggested training plan including manuals, instructions, etc. prior to the outset of the training. 7.1.3 All Items For all items, the vendor shall supply a minimum of one (1) day of Specification and Design Training to CALPIA Modular Systems Planning Team. Training shall be conducted at CALPIA’s Folsom, California location and/or online on an ongoing basis. 7.2 Sales and Marketing Support The following marketing tools shall be provided to CALPIA at no additional cost. • Email campaigns • Website downloads, including photos, price list and typicals • Showroom samples (initial product and installation at no charge) • Ongoing sample program (sold at cost) • Literature • Communication platform and website for customer projects 7.3 Design Services The following design services shall be provided to CALPIA at no additional cost. • Drawings and revisions • Customer BOM generation • Quote generation • Software support (Cap 2020 and GIZA 2020) • Attend customer meetings and site verifications upon request 7.4 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Integration Services The following ERP integration services shall be provided to CALPIA at no additional cost. CALPIA currently uses Infor’s ERPlx system but will be migrating to the Sage X3 system over the next two years. • Preparation and integration with CALPIA’s BOM formatting • Convert vendor numbers into CALPIA raw material component numbers for factory orders • Assist CALPIA factory with warehouse receiving and inventorying of orders 7.5 Factory Support Services The following factory support services shall be provided to CALPIA at no additional cost. • Factory training as outlined in section 7.1 • Factory work instructions • Quality control support and protocol
