The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is dedicated to improving the health, safety, and economic well-being of over 18 million wage earners and helping their employers comply with state labor laws. DIR works to maximize the effectiveness of its programs, activities and services, increase public access and promote its services to the public, including workers and employers who have limited English proficiency. Contractor agrees to provide qualified interpreters, as applicable based on the language in which the interpretation services will be provided, all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide in person and remote interpretation services for DIR offices in all Regions, on an as-needed basis. Contractor will be responsible for providing up to 75 working headsets for any given meeting. 1. Contractor will provide these services as the vendor in the (insert region here) Region. DIR does not guarantee any minimum amount of work under this contract. 2. Contractor will provide virtual and in person interpreting services in various Mexican Indigenous languages for board meetings, , Advisory Committee meetings, conferences, , outreach events, or other related events held at various locations.
