SC is exploring modern solutions that can support secure, real-time, high-volume messaging; ensure compliance with CJIS and CLETS standards; and provide long-term scalability, maintainability, and interoperability. The County is particularly interested in vendor capabilities related to system architecture, deployment options (on-premises, cloud, or hybrid), integration with existing systems, support services, and compliance features. The replacement solution must support secure connections to local, state, and federal systems, robust user access controls, audit logging, and failover capabilities to ensure continuity of critical law enforcement operations. While this RFI is not a solicitation for proposals, the information gathered will help the County refine its requirements, develop a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), and better understand market offerings, implementation timelines, and best practices. The County welcomes information on: Product capabilities and technical features; System architecture and integration approach; Compliance with CJIS, CLETS, and other relevant standards; Migration strategies from legacy systems; Deployment and support services; Estimated implementation timelines and cost models (informational only); Case studies or references from similar jurisdictions
