The City of Menifee is seeking proposals from qualified Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firms to audit its financial statements for the (3) three fiscal years (FY2025/26 ending June 30, 2026, FY2026/27 ending June 30, 2027, and FY2027/28 ending June 30, 2028), with the option of auditing its financial statements for each of the two (2) subsequent fiscal years (FY2028/29 ending June 30, 2029 and FY2029/30 ending June 30, 2030), in addition to performing other financial audits and reviews as specified below. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, the standards set forth for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards (1994) issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) 2 CFR Part 200 (“Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, Final Rule (Uniform Guidance)”.
