CalSTRS seeks to procure business process design and/or analysis and space planning consulting services from a firm to assist with the implementation planning for these offices. The anticipated contract term is one (1) year during which time the Scope of Services, Exhibit A, shall be completed. CalSTRS reserves the right, at its discretion, to extend the term to include six (6) one (1) year extensions for management and oversight of the implementation efforts. It is incumbent upon Proposers to fully understand the scope of work as described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work. Upon completion of the planning (discovery) effort, CalSTRS intends to fully implement this project. The Proposer must have the capacity to manage and oversee the implementation of the business process and space planning designs for the CalSTRS operated offices in the five (5) locations identified. The implementation phase will include site selection, scope and budget development, tenant improvement construction oversight, including, identifying all electrical, Information Technology (IT) and Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning requirements, reviewing architectural plans for accuracy, space planning, furniture design and acquisition, quality assurance of all vendor contracts and contract negotiation, and the identification of risk mitigation strategies.
