Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant must possess and maintain a working knowledge of the current best practices, including Core Practice Model and Trauma-Informed Care, in the area ofspecialtymentalhealthservicesandsubstanceabusetreatmentwithseverelyemotionally disturbed youth and those Clients labeled seriously and persistently mentally ill. Treatment would include Clients and their caregivers. The Consultant would have acomprehensive understanding of the issues related to community mental healthtreatment, including but not limited to family trauma, family poverty, family substanceabuse, family violence, incarceration, and homelessness. Consultant must also maintainprofessional relationships with local Law Enforcement, Emergency Rooms, Probation, Special Education, Child Welfare, and other community-based supportive organizations and programs in Shasta County. The Consultant’s services must be designed to reach project outcomes. The services provided must, at a minimum, comply with the Shasta County Mental Health Plan and include the following:•Mental Health Services• Case Management
