Specifications include, but are not limited to: IEHP’s Procurement Department, on behalf of Community Behavioral Health and Health Services Special Initiatives, is releasing this RFI to identify a vendor or vendors to provide all the services outlined and specified in Section 7 (SCOPE OF SERVICES). This RFI is for informational purposes only. IEHP intends to use the information provided by vendors to establish best practice and requirements for a Request for Proposal. Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) is soliciting requests for information from potential vendors experienced with Managed Care and school-based billing. IEHP intends to contract with vendor(s) to facilitate this program for purposes of increasing local education agency revenue, identifying, and resolving billing related concerns, evaluating billing/claims trends and providing support to Local Education Agencies (LEAs). A. To allow LEAs to become Medi-Cal providers and bill the Managed Care Plans for allowable health related assessments and services that are provided by qualified health service professionals to Medi-Cal enrolled students. B. To develop a pathway for Managed Care Plans to reimburse LEAs for health-related services provided by qualified health service practitioners to Medi-Cal enrolled students. Eligible services include: i. Health and Mental Health Evaluation ii. Psychology and Counseling iii. Community Health Worker Services
