The following Scope of Services has been developed as a general guide to identify the minimum tasks that the city believes needs to be performed by the Consultant. If the Consultant feels that the project can be enhanced by the addition of new tasks or the deletion of any of the specified tasks, such information should be included with their proposal. The Consultant will be the engineer of record and is responsible for providing quality control on all design and engineering deliverables prior to sending to the city. As such, the City’s engineering review of the Consultant’s deliverables is considered a courtesy, and the Consultant should not expect that City staff will perform a detailed engineering review. The Consultant will be responsible for coordinating their design to meet the requirements per other City departments and other jurisdictions. Including but not limited to the City Building department, Planning Department, Fire Department, and BAAQMD. The Consultant shall be responsible for producing plans, documents, and calculations necessary to obtain a building permit.
