A. Description of Services/Background: 1. Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance and personnel to provide DSH – Metropolitan (DSH) with mattress and textile recycling services monthly, as needed. Services shall be provided to assist DSH in diverting mattresses, textiles and related materials from landfill disposal, in accordance with applicable local, State and Federal regulations. 2. Items to be recycled by Contractor shall include but not be limited to mattresses, foam mattresses, foam mattress toppers, pillows, couch cushions, mats and textiles (ex. clothing, carpet, industrial fabric, towels, bedding, sheets, pillowcases, draperies, safety vests, hospital and institutional garments, etc.). 3. DSH is not permitting the use of subcontractors for this service. Any standard language within this Agreement, which refers to the use of a subcontractor shall not apply to this Agreement.
