The County of San Mateo Environmental Health Services (EHS) ensures a safe and healthy environment in San Mateo County through education, regulation, and monitoring. Services include but are not limited to hazardous waste management, restaurant inspections, housing inspections, medical waste disposal, water protection, water quality monitoring, and pollution prevention. EHS is seeking proposals from qualified applicants to support its Pollution Prevention Program with social and digital marketing, media buys, communications, and outreach services. The Pollution Prevention Program conducts outreach and education on a variety of environmental and public health topics to encourage residents to protect their health and the environment. EHS seeks to contract with a qualified organization to help raise awareness, change behaviors, and increase engagement with program initiatives. Successful proposals will demonstrate the ability to effectively reach target populations, increase participation in program activities, and deliver measurable improvements in public awareness and environmental outcomes.
