The yearly survey must include the following: • Labor and equipment as required to survey Enclosures. • Provide traffic control as needed. Traffic control plans need to be submitted with three weeks advance notice to UC San Diego. • Visible inspection of EMH ring, cover, and concrete/asphalt apron around ring (provide photographs of problems found). • Remove cover and check for proper ladder grounding. • Provide equipment to pump out water from enclosures to allow for proper entrance. Water to be disposed of onsite as directed by UC San Diego (see below). • Visually inspect concrete walls and ceilings for cracks, spalling, etc. (provide photographs of problems found). • Inspect racks and hangers for rust, suitable supports, proper anchors, etc. (provide photographs of problems found). • Inspect grounding of all racks, ladders, and cable splices for proper bonding (provide photographs of problems found). • Perform IR Scans for all cable splices and terminations. Record and report abnormal findings immediately and provide thermal images of problems found. • Visually inspect cables and note if cable ID tags are present. • Provide inspection report of each enclosure. • Capture and provide high-resolution photos (in landscape orientation) • 360-degree virtual tour photos
