• The RTG Executive Director provides routine written and oral reports of RTG performance, completed work, expectations and forecasts for optimal performance of regional training efforts and anticipated issues to LAAFCA and the RTG JPA Signatory Agencies. • The Executive Director oversees and provides management and direction for an RTG Intelligence Chief, six Regional Training Officers (sworn & non-sworn) a Planning Coordinator, and a part time Management Analyst which make up the Regional Training Group. • Maintains communication and collaboration with the training coordinators of six (6) regional training centers, three satellite training centers and any future training sites. • The Executive Director will actively engage, lead, coach, and develop all staff members. • Constantly assesses the RTG’s performance against strategic objectives within the strategic plan, adjusting as needed to stay on course. • Develops short-term and long-term strategies that align with the RTG’s mission and vision while providing clear direction to RTG members. • Anticipates future trends and challenges, providing a roadmap that keeps the RTG on course and also plans for growth and sustainability while developing and leads the strategy of the RTG within the broad context of the Training Strategic Plan
