Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose for this RFP is to evaluate qualified firms for the provision of a comprehensive and full-service set of IT managed services necessary for day-to-day IT operations and to help the City to align itself with best practices in municipal government information technology for a city of our size and complexity, related to cybersecurity, network and ensure device reliability, organizational governance, leveraging of existing enterprise applications to their fullest, and adopting new technologies strategically to realize tangible improvements to the organization and to its customers. The City seeks a partnership with its Managed IT Provider. While any contract prescribes tasks and performance standards to both the Vendor and the City, the City expects, and is heavily reliant on the recommendations and proactive advice from its Managed Services Provider (MSP) to achieve the objectives outlined above.
