The proposed improvements consist of replacing/repairing the existing roof system at Malibu Coat Animal Hospital including all other appurtenant work included in the project specifications. 900-2 PROJECT LOCATION Malibu Coast Animal Hospital, 23431 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265 900-3 INVESTIGATION OF SITE CONDITIONS Bidders are urged to visit the site of the work and by their own investigations satisfy themselves as to the existing conditions affecting the work to be completed as part of this project. If the bidder chooses not to visit the site or conduct investigations, bidder will nevertheless be charged with knowledge of conditions which reasonable inspection and investigation would have disclosed. 900-4 UTILITIES The existing subsurface utilities shown have been indicated, based on the best available record information. However, to avoid or resolve any interference problems between these existing utilities and the proposed work, the Contractor shall field verify the vertical and horizontal locations of all utilities and all other facilities and obstructions prior to beginning any excavations. Special reference is hereby made to Subsection 5-2, "Protection," of the SSPWC with respect to the protection, repair, and replacement of existing subsurface utilities. 900-5 SUBMITTALS The Contractor shall provide the following submittals or shop drawings prior to starting construction: Project Schedule (Critical Path Format) Emergency Phone Contact List Pre-construction Videotape Roofing Product Data Vehicle and Pedestrian Traffic Control Plan for Malibu Coast Animal Hospital Other submittal as requested by the Engineer
