This Request for Information (RFI) is solely for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service. The purpose of this RFI is to identify sources interested and capable of performing the work described herein. As a result of this RFI, the US Forest Service, Procurement & Property Services (PPS) may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government will not pay for, nor reimburse, any expenses incurred in responding to this RFI.
The McClellan Wildland Fire Training Center requires a vendor to provide support, repair, maintenance, and support services for the integrated/installed audio-visual (AV) systems and equipment at the WFTC. The services will comprise of ongoing routine and preventative maintenance services, assessment, repair and replacement services as needed.
This Request for Information is to determine your anticipated capacity to perform this work in calendar year 2024.
Scope of Work
- Ongoing Routine and Preventative Industry Standard Maintenance Services
- Assessment, Repair and Replacement Services
- The Vendor will be expected to perform uninstallation and installation and programming of all AV systems and equipment as needed
- Systematic inspection, adjustment, software/firmware updates, maintenance, replacement of hardware and components, as well as performance testing and analysis of all installed audio-visual systems and equipment.
- Emergency site visits per year with an onsite response time within 24 hours of the trouble call.
- Preventative maintenance visits.
- There are currently fourteen (14) classrooms with each room setup with the following AV equipment:
