The City of Carlsbad (City) is soliciting this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain proposals for architectural, structural and mechanical, electrical & plumbing (MEP) design services, including subconsultant discipline support services as necessary, for five historic building structures – (1) Magee House, (2) Outhouse, (3) Barn, (4) Heritage Hall and (5) Granary, inside the Carlsbad Magee Park located at 258 Beech Ave, Carlsbad, CA 92008. The historic building structures at Magee Park were constructed in 1887 and are currently in need of comprehensive restoration work. Concerns include roof components, structural integrity, ADA accessibility, interior and exterior wall finishes, MEP systems, landscaping and irrigation systems of the facility that need to be evaluated for restoration work to make them code compliance, functional and safe.
