Coordinate all activities at Mission Viejo television in order to keep the channel running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Work with staff in order to provide solutions to the City’s needs in the field of television production and operations of the MVTV Studio. Manage all programming and the Community Bulletin Board. Update shows and bulletin board notices per staff requests. Requirements 1. Administer and Coordinate with Community Relations Department on day-to-day operations of Mission Viejo Television. 2. Manage, maintain and oversee the Community Bulletin Board including creation and editing of slides as well as updating Tightrope Carousel on a timely and regular basis. 3. Organize all programming on the Tightrope video server, including encoding programming, preparing schedule, inserting PSAs , troubleshooting playback issues and schedule maintenance. 4. Studio engineering a. Recognize and troubleshoot issues related to single mode fiber transmitters and receivers, routing, switching and Ross frame issues. b. Supervise system integrators and engineers pertaining to studio repair and improvements. c. Maintain Mission Viejo Television studio and ENG equipment. d. Maintain the MVTV Studio and lighting grid, grip equipment and set. e. Research and recommend television production equipment to meet present and future needs of MVTV... Troubleshoot and schedule maintenance and engineering as needed and maintain the MVTV library.
