The Provider shall be responsible for delivering the following mental health and support services, which shall be made available as determined jointly by the Head Start/Early Head Start program and the consultant. The consultant will coordinate with Head Start/Early Head Start management and administration to schedule and provide these services: 1. Best practice, evidence-based skill development for staff and children. 2. Crisis intervention as needed. 3. Consultation services to school administration and faculty. 4. Training sessions for school administration and faculty on mental health topics. 5. Coordination of services with the KidsConnection Network (KCN); 6. Tracking and follow-up of mental health services provided, as reported in the Head Start/Early Head Start Program Information Report (PIR). 7. Coordination with other agencies for mental health services as requested. 8. Provision of occupational therapy services to Head Start children who do not qualify for district services. 9. In San Benito County, the scope includes assessment, intervention, and treatment for families in need of early intervention, where no other service options are available in the community. The agency will utilize a Relationship-Based Therapy Model, offering services such as parent education, individual therapy, child assessments, home visits, and follow-up consultations. 10. Addressing issues arising from self-assessment and monitoring activities as required.
