The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf, Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health, herein after referred to as “COUNTY” or “RUHS-BH”, is seeking proposals from interested and qualified organizations and agencies to provide a 24-hour Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) at Mead Valley Wellness Village, program will be licensed by Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). A mental health rehabilitation center is a 24-hour program which provides intensive support and rehabilitative services designed to assist persons, 18 years or older, with mental disorders who would have been placed in a state hospital or another mental health facility to develop skills to become self-sufficient and capable of increasing levels of independence and functioning. The MHRC will provide a wide range of alternatives to acute psychiatric hospitalization and institutional care based on the principles of community-based treatment. Services will include individual and group counseling, psychiatric services, pre-vocational and vocational assistance, community participation, and linkages to other community services. AWARDED CONTRACTOR will have specialization in consumers such as; Lanterman Petris Short (LPS) conservatorship, Murphy conservatorship, or who have been found Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) or otherwise court ordered to treatment in this facility type
