Specifications include, but are not limited to:Bidder shall provide daily managerial and operational and maintenance services for the Castle Commerce Center - Castle Airport Water System. The minimum required operator certification at Castle Commerce Center - Castle Airport is D2. Currently, the Castle water system has over 140 connections, two operating wells, a 500,000 gallon storage tank and approximately 425 valves and hydrants. A good portion of the system dates back to the 1950’s. Because of the system’s age, staffing to handle emergencies must be available within 30 to 60 minutes. Services include, but are not limited to, the following: 3.1.1. Provide onsite service an average of twenty (20) hours a week, Monday through Friday. 3.1.2. Perform well, storage tank, and distribution system maintenance and modifications. 3.1.3. Operate pumps and related flow and pressure control and storage facilities manually or by using a system control and data acquisition (SCADA) system. 3.1.4. Shutdown, over-see repairs, disinfects and test broken water distribution piping. 3.1.5. Investigate water quality problems in the distribution system. 3.1.6. Perform Sample Collection for bacteriological, radiological and chemical monitoring. 3.1.7. Perform backflow prevention device testing and certification. 3.1.8. Maintain and repair water meters. 3.1.9. Perform Stand-by emergency response duties for after hour’s distribution system operational emergencies. 3.1.10. Maintain database of water valves, water meters and backflow devices
