Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Pasadena's Human Services and Recreation Department (HSRD) is soliciting bids for a live music band. HSRD is hosting a concert for Parks After Dark at Memorial Park on August 10, 2019, bidder must provide sound engineers, instruments and sound system as needed to perform 3,000 attendees. Bidders must provide an up beat tropical Latin vibe with Cumbia, salsa or similar, and have a large social media following of a minimum of 3,000. In your response include website links to your social media. Concert is from 5:30pm to 7:30 with a 10 minute intermission. Band Set up is from 4pm to 5pm with sound check from 5pm to 5:30pm. Evaluation criteria is as follows: Work Experience 35pts. - includes work with municipalities, number of years in business and number of major events of crowds of 2,000+. Media Following 35pts.- Bidder media following of 3,000 plus. Size 25pts. of the band will also be considered in the final determination of the award. 5pts. Pasadena Preference (Local Vendors). Winning bidder must obtain a Pasadena Business License in order to proceed w/ Purchase Order (PO).
