A. Purpose and Background The Orange County Sheriff’s Department, (OCSD) requires Industrial Lighting and Lighting Supplies for all OCSD, Orange County, CA. locations and facilities. Contractor(s) to provide and deliver indoor and outdoor lighting, equipment and supplies. Including but not limited to, connectors, cables, wiring, ties, fasteners, emergency lighting and signs, troffers, commercial/industrial fixtures and accessories, LED fixtures and accessories, switches, sensors, ballasts, drivers, fluorescent lamps, LED lamps, HID lamps, incandescent lamps, and batteries. B. Contractor Requirements A. Contractor shall provide the County energy-efficient, and durable lamps, electrical lighting hardware, fixtures, supplies, various illumination devices, and other eco-friendly solutions. Contractor may be required to supply complete LED retrofits components and/or replacement parts. B. Contractor may be required to provide recommendations and supply energy-efficient solutions and equipment, to include but not limited to LED, smart lighting systems, and building automated control integrations. C. Contractor shall require no minimum order size or value limitations. Contractor shall accept and perform, no matter order size or value, under all terms and conditions of contract. D. County will make its best effort to bundle orders, although small orders may be necessary and unavoidable. Contractor shall accept orders placed “as-needed” and at the convenience of the County. E. Contractor shall accept orders placed “as-needed” and at the convenience of the County. F. Substitution of product(s) shall NOT be accepted by County, unless previously agreed. County reserves the right to refuse any product substitutions regardless of compatibility. G. Product and material supplied, shall be NEW material(s) and product(s) with no visible irregularities, damage or defects. H. Contractor shall have access and remain in good standing with product providers for the duration of the contract. I. Contractor shall not withhold delivery of any product, accessory and/or material, for any reason, for orders related to regulatory compliance, certification and/or deemed critical to daily County operations. J. Contractor shall deliver product or material at its earliest available delivery date and time. In-stock items delivery, shall not exceed forty eight (48) hours. Under no condition shall delivery exceed fifteen (15) calendar days, unless previously agree by authorized County representative. K. All products, accessories and materials shall be subject to inspection and approval by County prior to acceptance and approved for payment. L. All orders shall be shipped and received by the time specified, unless previously agreed to by authorized County representative. M. Contractor shall immediately notify authorized County representative of any conditions or changes affecting Contractor’s ability to perform under the contract. N. Scheduled deliveries shall occur during County normal operational hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon-Fri (PST) Excluding County Holidays.
