California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors, firms or individuals to provide security for the Robert E. Kennedy Library structure on campus. It is the intent of Cal Poly to award a contract for a seven (7) month term, with a possibility of two to three (2-3) month extension to furnish Cal Poly' Library with security until the appropriate security systems and physical structures can be placed in accordance with the specifications included herein. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all personnel and equipment needed for the service. Information herein and pertaining to Cal Poly Library Security Guard needs with regard to service hours, days of service, schedules, are based on estimates and are subject to change, though we do not anticipate changes for the term of the contract. Cal Poly staff has developed this information for purposes of general planning and providing a service framework on which responses to this RFP can be based. All bidders must comply with the specifications and requirements as well as all State and local health requirements listed in this RFP.
