Answer: Please estimate the number of participants you expect to attend the workshop. 35 – 50 participants.

NSWC PHD will use the Lego Serious Play method with no more than 50 members of the Executive Steering Group to:
1. Look at how to increase support from Port Hueneme to its workforce in other locations (SG1), or
2. Define what an innovative team culture needs to be successful (SG3)?
Four-hour customized “Lego Serious Play” workshop for up to 50 members of the Executive Steering Group.
Workshop components include: Outward sharing amongst the Executive Steering Group around question, Contractor posing the question and have the Executive Steering Group build an answer out of Lego bricks, the Executive Steering Group completes visioning exercises for the future using Legos, and the Executive Steering Group makes recommendations for way-forward
Post Workshop Analysis and Summary Report (CDRL A002): Vendor will capture all ideas and recommendations generated by the Executive Steering Group and provide a summary document to NSWC PHD.
Once we receive this information, we will quickly prepare a detailed proposal outlining the workshop content, timeline, and pricing for you to look over and consider.

Question: Is this a new requirement or contract renewal?
Answer: This is a new requirment for this command.
Question: The “Brand Name/Sole Source Justification under $250k” portion states the LSP brand is justified and no other facilitation method would meet the intent of this training, however it does not appear to request a sole source vendor.
Answer: This is a brand name, please see the J&A in the attachments section for more detail.
Question/Answers: Based on your market research, do you anticipate future motions to secure a sole source vendor, or will it remain open for competition?
Answer: It will be reopen as this is not a sole source.
Question: The RFQ Description of Product or Services states “Lego Serious Play Strategic Planning Workshop for the Executive Steering Group” for a period of four hours.
- Will this be a one-time training event? - Answer: Yes at this time.
- Who is in the Executive Steering Group? How many personnel will be trained?- Answer: The executive steering group consists of the top 50 senior leaders of the command: 06, 05, GS15, SSTM, and SES and we expect 35 – 50 personnel in attendance.
- Will a training facility be provided/available at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, or will the vendor be required to coordinate an off-base training facility?- Answer: Please see section 3.0 of the statement of work. The workshop is scheduled for 22 June 2023 from 1200 – 1600 on Naval Base Ventura County at the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering in Port Hueneme, CA.
Question: The RFQ states “Delivery Requirement: 15 weeks ARO.” Does this mean training should be ready for performance within 15 weeks of contract award (after receipt of order)?
Answer: Yes.
Question: Does the customer have a specific date or date range for training?
Answer: Please see section 3.0 of the statement of work. The workshop is scheduled for 22 June 2023 from 1200 – 1600 on Naval Base Ventura County at the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering in Port Hueneme, CA.
Question: Will your office consider a socio-economic set-aside for this requirement? If so, we respectfully request consideration conveyed to EDWOSB- and/or SDVOSB-certified firms.
Answer: Yes, as long as the SBA stanards are met.
