The City Attorney’s Office of the City of San José (“City”) is seeking qualifications from legal counsel to provide a variety of legal services to support the implementation of a significant capital improvement program being undertaken by the San José-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (“Regional Wastewater Facility” or “Facility”). Specifically, the City is interested in obtaining legal counsel to do the following: 1. Advise and help the City analyze the various alternative methods available to it for delivering major public works construction projects at the Facility, and 2. Help the City implement, administer and manage major public works construction projects undertaken at the Facility using various project delivery methods. Legal counsel will provide the services on an on-call basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing these kinds of services for major capital improvements at a water pollution control plant.
