1) Provide and Maintain AED Units a) Contractor shall deliver and install four (4) full operational leased AEDs at 710 Riverpoint Court, West Sacramento, CA 95605. b) Contractor shall ensure AEDs meet Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval standards, American Heart Association (AHA) recommendations, and all State and Federal regulatory requirements. 2) Perform Monthly Inspections a) Contractor shall conduct on-site monthly inspections of all AED units within the first ten (10) business days of each month and will coordinate inspection scheduling with the CAL FIRE Project Representative. b) Contractor shall check device operational status, battery levels, pad expiration dates, and readiness indicators. c) Contractor shall confirm AEDs are properly stored, visible, and accessible. d) Contractor shall provide an electronic copy of the inspections report to the CAL FIRE Project Representative within five (5) business days of inspection completion. 3) Replace and Maintain Components a) Contractor shall replace expired or depleted consumables (batteries, pads) at no additional cost. i. Pad replacement as needed or every two (2) years. ii. Battery replacement as needed or every two (2) years. b) Contractor shall repair or replace malfunctioning AED units within five (5) business days of notification by CAL FIRE. 4) Provide Documentation and Certification a) Contractor shall submit monthly inspection reports and maintenance records to the CAL FIRE Project Representative. b) Contractor shall provide an annual compliance certification confirming all AEDs are maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, state regulations, and industry standards. 5) Emergency and On-Call Support Contractor shall respond to urgent services requests within two (2) business days of notification. 6) Equipment Failure Response Contractor shall ensure malfunctioning AEDs are repaired or replaced within five (5) business days of notification. 7) Training and Support a) Contractor shall provide operating instructions and quick reference guides for CAL FIRE personnel. b) Contractor shall designate a single point of contact to coordinate scheduling, reporting, and any service issues.
