Required Services 1. Learning Disability Evaluations • Upon referral from a CalWORKs ESR, the contractor shall conduct comprehensive learning needs evaluations. • Evaluations may be conducted in person (preferred) or virtually when appropriate and accessible to the participant. • Each evaluation shall include, but is not limited to, the following components: o Aptitude/Information Processing (e.g., Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale [WAIS], Woodcock-Johnson). o Achievement Testing (e.g., Wide Range Achievement Test [WRAT], Test of Adult Basic Education [TABE]). o Vocational Interests assessments, as needed, to inform the participant’s individualized WTW plan. 2. Participant Interviews • The contractor shall meet with each participant to review their current circumstances, educational history, and other relevant background information. • Approved evaluation instruments shall be administered to assess learning needs and identify potential barriers to employment and training. 3. Written Summary Report • Following the evaluation, the contractor shall provide the County with a comprehensive written summary report that meets ADA civil rights protections. • Reports must be written in clear, layperson’s language and include: o Relevant vocational and educational background. o General aptitude/cognitive level. o Identification of barriers (e.g., physical/mental health issues, substance use). o Areas of strength and deficit...
