Consultant for the coordination and execution of critical tasks that will drive the development and advancement of the Leadership Development and Organizational Transformation Program (LDOTP). The contractor shall design and implement a leadership development program for all staff. This program will: • Help employees better understand their own strengths, behaviors, and how they impact others. • Align individual contributions with the organization’s goals. • Promote inclusivity, encourage teamwork across regional offices, and build leadership skills to support the organization through changes and adjustments. Objectives 1. In-Person Conference: • Plan and facilitate a 2-day conference in Sacramento, CA, offering professional development, skill-building, and collaboration opportunities for all staff. Provide workshops/sessions for staff to equip them with tools for: o Managing change o Optimizing roles and responsibilities o Enhancing team performance • Coordinate 1–2 planning meetings with SCDD Headquarters (HQ) personnel and Executive Leadership to: o Align conference objectives with organizational goals. o Customize session content to address specific staff needs. o Identify opportunities for staff-led sessions or breakout discussions tailored to roles, classifications, or programs. 2. Follow-up Virtual Workshops: • Plan and deliver follow-up virtual workshops or sessions as needed. These workshops should: o Reinforce concepts from the in-person conference. o Address emerging needs or challenges. o Support ongoing learning and collaboration among staff
