The Consultant is to conduct inspection and assessment surveys for the assigned properties (956 units) and perform testing to determine the presence and extent of contamination by hazardous substance lead. A final report will then be issued detailing the inspection and testing performed, the results analysis and specifications and plan for abating the contamination including monitoring. Additional clearance testing on units where abatement or encapsulation has occurred. The scope of work for this project shall consist of the evaluation of the presence of Lead-based paint and/or lead hazards from paint, dust, or soil in several of the Agency's Public Housing communities constructed prior to 1978, which comprise a total of 956 dwelling units of various sizes.
